Steel Doors Used In Bathroom Shower Enclosure and Sauna Room

Portella steel doors were used in this contemporary bathroom remodel.  The narrow steel profile and large expanse TDL (true divided lights) of glass help to give the room and open airy feeling.  Steel door and fixed sidelite opening into the steam shower provides a long term solution to humid environment and creates a larger visual of the relative small space.
Portella's thermally bonded galvanizing proces provides a 20 year min corrosive protection.  Units can be either painted or natural patina finished.

  11. We always neglect windows. We look for stylish doors but windows are often left plain and symmetrical. For a good looking house try to make sync in between windows and doors!

  14. That is an interesting placement of the custom glass doors. I would assume that a glass door would go on the shower itself; not the entryway to the bathroom. How well does it work when it is place like in the picture above?

  15. I love the idea of these glass doors. Would you be able to put a window into the door? I just have this patio space outside my kitchen and if I could open the door up like a window for ventilation it would be perfect.

  18. Are people a big fan of the glass shower doors. I have a see through curtain at home and I don't know if I'm totally sold. I like the feeling of it being my space, and I get that with the fabric curtains.

  20. Those look really stunning. I love the doors themselves, but the wood behind it is really what makes the whole thing. The horizontal wood looks fantastic. Thanks for the pictures!

  22. These doors in this article are really cool. I like how they don't look like what you would typically see. I think this would be awesome as a library door.

  27. My favorite part of the remodel is the custom door. I have never seen anything like it before. My house was built by the same developer that did most of the properties in my neighborhood. As a result, they all look very similar. Custom doors would be an excellent way to set my house apart.

  30. The fact of the matter is that when you are needing to get a new window or door in your house, you need to make sure that you get exactly what it is that you are looking for. It needs to match the rest of your home or the room itself. That will be your best bet for getting things done.
