This oversized entry manufactured by Portella illustrates our proprietary narrow sight line profiles and incorporates a pivot door in the center of two equal size sidelites and transom above. We have engineered our pivot system to withstand the heavy weight of solid steel structure and insulated glass. The bottom door rail and top rail contain a portion of the pivot components. These structures have been designed by Portella Engineers to allow very narrow top rails and bottom rails on pivot doors.

These are beautiful! Seriously, I want all of these. I'm going to have to go looking for new window and doors in Edmonton.
ReplyDeleteThis custom steal on the windows looks incredible. If I ever have the money I have to get one of these windows.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful combination of look and strength as using the glasses with steel is really wrathful. This pivot system lets the sunlight enter and provide security too. Keep on updating other good piece of door structures.

I am about to start building a new home, but I want to have unique doors that will make the home look better. I like the idea of having the glass doors, they look very sophisticated and modern. Do you know if I would be able to get the frame in a different color than black? http://www.mrdoormanmia.com/index.php?categoryid=3
ReplyDeleteThe way you designed the windows and then accented them with that swirly metal structure in the middle is really classy! I like the more modern look that it gives. It's impressive what sorts of things they can do with custom windows and things. Some day I would like to install windows similar to these ones. http://www.windowsdoorspittsburgh.com/
ReplyDeleteI am in charge of picking out the outside doors to the house as well as the windows. I am really excited because I know that there are a lot of nice designs to choose from. I want to get a steel door so we don't have to worry about the wear and tear. I really like the windows and door in the first picture. I would love to have that for my back door. It would let in a lot of natural light which would be nice because they house right now needs a little more light. http://metrowindows.ca/service.php
ReplyDeleteThese are some of the coolest doors I've ever seen. The combination of steel and glass is stunning. It creates a very modern and chic look.
